Maia Journeau
Maia Journeau is an African American and Canadian actress based in the UK. She studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Whilst training at RCS, she took part in R&D sessions at the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh for Macbeth (an undoing), Anna Karenina, and The Outrun.
She also trained at the DAN School of Drama and Music in acting, opera, and musical theatre at Queen’s University with a training partnership at The Shaw Festival and Theatre Kingston. Her theatre credits include: Fill Fill Fill Fill Fill Fill Fill, Twelfth Night, The Dutch Courtesan (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), Lancashire Lass (World Premiere at the Watershed Festival), The Wolves, Concord Floral, and Cabaret (DAN School of Drama and Music at Queen’s University).
